I started having contractions Wednesday but very infrequent. My water broke Friday morning at 2am

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
Submitting to the pain, I had a great team that reassured me, help me up when I couldn't, and loved on me when I needed it.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
I watched a ton of birthing videos. I was trying for a VBAC so this was huge.

What surprised you about your birth?
That after awhile the pain wasn't pain anymore, I fully submitted and the pain went away

What pain relief strategies worked best?
I used the shower, bath tub, and breathing strategies to help with the pain

What position did you end up delivering in?
I was in active labor for over 24 hours and my body stopped contracting, I needed to be transferred and ended with a repeat csection

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
I was so happy she here and that she was a SHE!

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Watch lots of videos, have a strong support team and don't give up!
