When did you realize you were really in labor?
1 o'clock in the morning

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
This was my fourth natural delivery, so I knew what to expect, but I did have some back labor, which I didn't have with previous deliveries. Thank the Lord my husband and I learned some counter pressure techniques in our kingdom childbirth class online, that helped sooo much and really got my husband involved In the labor process. It was very sweet.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
We took an online birthing class with Kierra Blaser I highly recommend! She does an amazing job in teaching all aspects of birth from a kingdom minded perspective. We loved it!

What surprised you about your birth?
How fast he came!!! My water broke, which has never happened before in past deliveries, and he was there within 4 minutes! My doctor barely made it in to catch him!

Go for it!!! Get a good support team. Get educated in how we are made to deliver naturally. But, let go of control of how you picture your birth being, and know that God will show up no matter what, and His presence will give you the peace and strength you need!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Counter pressure, changing positions every half hour, soft encouraging worship music, essential oils and slow dancing with my hubby ❤️

What position did you end up delivering in?
My water broke when I laid down on my left side, and then I could get up because of how he was positioned, made standing uncomfortable at that point, so I just rolled over on my back and out he came!

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
A big surprise! Again, everything went so fast, that I was surprised when they put him up on me and was like, "Your here already?! Your beautiful!"
My OB was laughing, Lol.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
