When did you realize you were really in labor?
It was 6am and I woke up in pain. I went back to sleep hoping I'd wake up again from the pain and I did! Started timing my contractions and the rest is history.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
Being mentally tough--it was a mind game during labor, especially toward the end of the 18 hours.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
My husband and I taking a Bradley course together. We felt prepared and in power. It was a huge bonding experience for our marriage as well!

What surprised you about your birth?
How pushing felt! I had no idea what to expect and with each push I knew it would be harder and harder but I was getting closer to meeting our daughter!
