When did you realize you were really in labor?
About a week before I gave birth. My contractions started on a Friday night, they were about 20 minutes apart, and consistently stayed that way for the next 7 days.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
In the end I had to have a c-section, my body just wouldn't cooperate, which for me seemed to be the most challenging thing. Having the will, an the patience wasn't enough in my case. I labored at 5cm for 3 days and by the time I was 8cm my cervix had swollen, and my blood pressure had dropped drastically.
