  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

    It was around midnight or 1am on March 24th.

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

    Nothing really. Pain meds make me nauseous.

    How much I absolutely lived my birthing experience. It was simple and quick.

  • Stay home and relax as long as you can. Don't focus on the labor just relax, have a light snack, watch a movie and shower.
  • What pain relief strategies worked best?

    Breathing! No fancy breathing techniques. Just focusing on my breath and breathing in through my nose and out through my mouth and really focusing on it as labor progressed.

  • What position did you end up delivering in?

    On my back sadly. I wanted to be up but maybe next birth.

  • How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

    Amazing. It was so peaceful and the next hour flew by with him in my arms.

  • What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

    Stay home and relax as long as you can. Don't focus on the labor just relax, have a light snack, watch a movie and shower.
