When did you realize you were really in labor?
My water broke around 1:15am, I thought things would ramp up quickly, but only had minor sporadic contractions. I rested and napped until the afternoon. Once I got up and was walking around cramping was strong and contractions quickly ramped up.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
I worked out most of my pregnancy and read Ina May birth stories. On the day of the birth, I had a birthing tub ready to go and surrounded myself with a wonderful support team.

Did most of the pushing on my knees and leaning over the side of the tub, but I flipped over to my back right before the baby came out.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
It was the biggest relief to see my healthy little baby. I was overjoyed.
