Reading A Lot Of Natural Birth Books Helped Amy During Her Home Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

I started having some bloody show around noon and some random contraction, so I knew it would be that day/night. But it was a bit after 4 that I started having to breathe through the contractions and they were regular, so I count labor as starting then.

  • What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

I have had fairly easy labors, so the worst part for me is waiting. All three of mine have been at 41 weeks or later. Sometimes I really wish I was willing to be induced- and I get so discouraged when it seems like everyone around me has their babies early.
