What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
The most challenging aspect of natural childbirth (in my opinion) is the transition part of labor. I felt nauseated & was in a good bit of pain. The thing is, though, as long as you have support & keep focused on the happy result that is about to happen, it's really not that bad!

What surprised you about your birth?
I was pleasantly surprised by how in control I could feel. With my first birth, we had a surprise unplanned home birth because our firstborn came so quickly, which we were definitely not expecting. With our second, we planned a home birth & I felt so at ease & in control of my body. It was amazing.
