When did you realize you were really in labor?
I realized I was having the baby when I was around 43 weeks and my water broke.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
The hardest thing for me was knowing I had come so far in labor and tried so hard for labor to start naruraly that when they told me I had to have an emergency c section I couldn't help but cry. I had made it to 9 and a half dilation before they realized that his head was stuck on my pelvic bone, and his heart rate was dropping ,But I am thankful for my doctors tour saving his life. I just have to say sometimes life docent go the way you plane, but no matter happens all pain is worth it when you get to hold that baby for the first time.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Excerice, and getting plenty of water, and do not stress. Even if I thought it may be nothing if I thought something was wrong I asked the doctor. Sometimes the doctor telling you everything is ok or explaining why something is happening helps.

What surprised you about your birth?
The most surprising thing for me was that when your water brakes it really is like in movies. Water goes everywhere, and that contraction pain is very tolerable as long as you can focus on something else. For me that was music.

What pain relief strategies worked best?
For me I had brought my ipod and listened to music.

What position did you end up delivering in?
I had a c section so I was on my back.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
BackbIt was the most amazing feeling in the world. I cried so much and was so happy and relieved to see him healthy.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Trust in yourself, and do not be scared when you are in labor no matter it there's pain keep your mind on your baby.
And the biggest advice I can give anyone is do not let your doctor convince you to go past 42 weeks mine did and that is why I had to get a c section.
