When did you realize you were really in labor?

I did NOT believe I was in labor until I got admitted into the hospital.
What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

I didnt go all natural. I tried but it hurt way to bad with the contractions, so I got an epidural.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?

The most helpful thing to prepare myself for childbirth was just making sure the bags were packed so I wasn't stressed about my baby's stuff.
What surprised you about your birth?

The immediate connection with my son surprised me the most. It was an immediate bond that I didn't think would happen.
Make sure to give it a try. Even if you want to get an epidural, still give natural a try.
What pain relief strategies worked best?

The epidural and having someones hand to squeeze helped me the most with the pain.
What position did you end up delivering in?

I was on my back on a hospital bed with my legs being pushed as far back as possible.
How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

Beautiful. The connection was amazing.
What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

Make sure to give it a try. Even if you want to get an epidural, still give natural a try.
