When did you realize you were really in labor?
Well it was around 7:00 PM and I was acting funny and my husband was like wow wouldn't it be funny if you went into labor tonight I was like yeah no... lol I ended up having my son at 3:45 AM the next morning it was 100% natural.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
The most difficult was setting my mind off the pain of my son pushing his way out of my vagina. Boy when his head was ready to come out if felt like fire and burning at the same time. But when he came out everything I was feeling was gone my attention was on him and only him.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
I exercised before he was born as in I walked a lot and I had sex a lot with my husband. That is what made it go fast I think.

What surprised you about your birth?
With my birth it lasted only less then three hours and then as soon as I got to the hospital he was just about ready to come out I was like 8 cm dilated and I had to wait to have him because the midwife wasn't there yet to help deliver him so by the time she was there it was time to push and boy I couldn't wait... then he was born after like 10 pushes.

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Focusing on getting my soon to be son out I had no time for any pain meds.

What position did you end up delivering in?
On my side and one leg up and the other on a bar to help push my son out.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
It felt really good and like I accomplished something after waiting for nine months.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
I would recommend it the recovery is faster and yes you still will feel pain after you give birth but it's worth it!!
