Hiring a Doula Helped Taryn During Her Hospital Birth

  • When did you realize you were really in labor?

I was 38 and a half weeks pregnant with twins and my body had started going into labor every night for three weeks but not progressing into true labor. I was encouraged to be induced since I was having twins and walking around 6cm dilated. Once I decided to do the induction my body finally relaxed and went into labor, it was such a relief.
