When did you realize you were really in labor?

I was at home and my bag of waters broke

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?

Once I got into active labor and the contractions and pressure grew really intense trying to relax and stay calm became very challenging

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?

I got plenty of rest cause I thought that I was going to be induced the next day. So I was well rested for delivery.

What surprised you about your birth?

I went from 3cm,to 5cm to 10 time to push. lol. the labor crew didn't have time to prepare they were all running for gloves and putting them on broke the bed down turned the bright light on. I'm like hurry I need to push!!!!!

What pain relief strategies worked best?

just focusing on other things relaxing my hubby rubbed my lower back, which felt great and helped out alot. Plus they let my 3 younger children in the room so they had lots of questions.

What position did you end up delivering in?

On my back.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?

It felt soo good plus she is my first girl so I was in love instantly

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?

Just hang in there mommies we go through great pain to see our little joy of bundles keep good thoughts and good vibes relax and don't let it take over you, your running the show. it's all worth the pain. I feel like if you don't experience the pain you don't know how true labor feels. it's Beautiful and will be all over very soon?
