When did you realize you were really in labor?
My water broke at 1am when I was 1 day shy of 38 weeks along.
-
What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
For me, my contractions stalled, and because of risk of infection from my water breaking, my doctor highly recommended that I be put on Pitocin. Although it was my first birth experience, I know there is no way that natural contractions are anything like Pitocin-induced contractions. I almost blacked out because of the excruciating pain.
