What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Read, read, and educate myself on how the body works in labor. The understanding of the body helps me to better deal with what is happening and why it's happening. It made me more confident in my body and that it knew what to do with out me having to do anything, allowing me to relax and "ride the waves."

What surprised you about your birth?
It was my first day-time birth!! YAY! I thought I would get a good night sleep being Baby Girl came at 3:15 PM, but I was still on the birthing high, that I was way too excited to sleep that night. In my previous three births, I had my babies all after midnight, leaving me awake for almost a full 24 hours. So, I got a bit more rest this time.
