What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
I did a lot of research and wrote a birth plan of exactly what I wanted. My husband did a great job of dictating that to the nurses and I felt he was well prepared and knew exactly what I wanted out of my birth. The birth plan made it so much easier to let go and just focus on giving birth.

What surprised you about your birth?
My birth was a lot faster than I thought it would be!! Active labor for my first birth was about 12 hours or so, active labor for this birth was only about 5 hours.
