When did you realize you were really in labor?
When I had a non stress test done. And the Dr noticed contractions on there. She checked me and I was 5 cm and 80% she told me to go home and come back to the hospital at 6:00 pm that night. Went back to my apartment around 1:30 pm

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
Well I was not scared about the pain. Because I did it before. I was more worried about My sons size. And worried I would need a c-section. He was 12 lbs. The most hurtful part was pushing him out. He was sunny side up and it was way more painful then my other babies to push out.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Birth vlogs on YouTube. And a lots of prayer.
-
What surprised you about your birth?
What surprised me is I did it. I birthed a 12 lb 1 oz baby with no medicine naturally. He also has a true knot in his cord and we didn't know till he was already out. Also this was my third baby and my biggest. But the contractions were less painful I think from my other babies.

You can do it, if you put your mind to it. Don't give your self the quit option unless of course babies life depends on it. Use a focal point breath and know it's is only temporary pain

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Finding a focal point. And using that when contractions started. Also breathing.
-
What position did you end up delivering in?
On my back. That's the only way the hospital would allow.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
It was so amazing. I can still remember them putting him on my chest still connected to the cord and feeling his warmth and cheesiness. Lol that part is so addicting. I would give anything to feel that warm squishy on me again
