When did you realize you were really in labor?
I never got to go into labor. I was gung ho for going all natural Rall, but received a diagnosis of vasa previa at week 20. This force me into the hospital at week 27 with cramping and delivery at week 32.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
I know these stories are about natural birth, but I think it's good to hear that things don't always go as planned. I did what I could to avoid certain medications in the hospital. For example sleeping pills, constipation pills, etc. Our use raisin bran!

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
I took a chilbirth class anyway hoping to use the natural childbirth method for future children. There was also an outside chance that the vasa previa could go away.

What surprised you about your birth?
That my doctors or so incredibly kind and willing to do as much of my birth plan as possible.

Do the absolute best you can in knowing The natural method is the best for most pregnancies and most deliveries. However, there are some outcomes that are best not going the natural method. Do everything in your power to give your baby the best chance of life!

C-section.

Absolutely amazing! There is no other feeling in this world

Do the absolute best you can in knowing The natural method is the best for most pregnancies and most deliveries. However, there are some outcomes that are best not going the natural method. Do everything in your power to give your baby the best chance of life!
