My oldest daughter’s name is Charleigh so I wanted a name that sounded cute with that.

We also loved Remington for a boy, so when we found out we were having a girl we settled on Remi. It’s so simple and beautiful, I just love it.

This will be my vey first grandchild. My son, which is an only child, is so excited to meet daughter and be a daddy for the first time. His wife is due in January of 2024. I wasn’t exactly excited about the name Remi when they first told me that’s what they picked out actually I fought hard against it. But the more I fought against it the more they fought for it. So I give in. So it’s Remi Marie Grace Grigsby it is, I guess ! Lol ?

Remi is the perfect name my child is sweet a loving. She has her ups a downs, but she stands strong! She is now 13 and has never got into fights she has AMAZING friends And she’s beautiful! If you have a child that is a little rude go up to them and say ” Hey is ok to be rude sometimes but learn from your mistakes and apologize!”

I was interested in Remi as a boy’s name, since it IS a boy’s name, and would be naming my son after the saint who baptised Clovis king of France, which marked the beginning of Christendom. To learn that this is an increasingly popular name in the US and for girls–how positively annoying!!

Me and her dad came up with her name. Both of our names start with the letter R so we thought it would be pretty for her to have the same letter. I also gave her the same initials has her dad since she is his first child. I love the name Remi just always have.

My Husband and I decided on Remi because we are very into guns and outdoors and loved the name Remington so our first son is Hunter ig our 2nd was a boy as well he would be Remington and we decided our first girl would be Remi which is the short girl form of remington.

We chose Remi after she was just “baby” for her first 24 hours. We had picked Remi out as a possible boy’s name, and as we were going through the list, my husband asked, “Can Remi be a girl’s name?” I instantly felt teary, and knew it was her name. I love that it is not particularly girly or not, and is unique without being confusing or too odd. Her middle name is Juliette, which is my grandma’s middle name, who we love and miss very much. We called my grandma Juju, and call our sweet girl “Remi Juju.”
