  1. We’re big into nature, viking, andbnative culture due to our ancestors.
It was on the list and kept getting drawn to it.
Tuned into her energy and it just felt right.

  2. I an planning my next pregnancy. I don’t have a partner yet but (whether u believe or not) my cards keep telling me over and over thar he’s coming. I want to grow my family so bad. I already have an amazing son who is almost 7. Its about time I have another one. Especially considering I want 4 babies total. I have always loved unique names and especially unisex. That’s why I feel in love with my sons name Bryson.

I am in love with the name Oakley as soon as I seen it. I feel 100% called to it. That’d my daughter coming. I def think it can be shortened. I will call her Oaks sometimes. Or on the occasion “O”. I love it. I think she will like it. Provided she’s a girl lol but I just hope bcuz I have a boy, I want girl next, and then boy again and girl again last. My 4 babies. I like planning. It makes me hopeful. Oakley Is a gorgeous name. I won’t regret it. I’m so excited to start having my kids. This year if I don’t find a loving partner I’m getting artificially insemination. Cuz I’m not gonna benyoung forever. I’m 32 and my son is already almost 7. I wish I already would’ve had a baby by now. But never too late. Gonna start this year. Can’t wait for my big fam

  3. My kid was born in 2011, we named her Olivia. Earlier this year they changed their name to Oakley (pronouns changed too) and frankly, I love it! While Olivia is a beautiful name, it just didn’t fit this kid. When naming them I was trying so hard to find a unique name that evoked nature (like Olive) but with compromise we ended up on a very popular name. Oakley gave it a lot of thought and found the perfect name! Someone else mentioned that it couldn’t be shortened, but I’ve used ‘Oak’ a lot. Easier to yell when the kid is in trouble lol!

  4. We liked that it couldn’t be shortened and it was gender neutral. It’s also not a very common name.

  5. That’s my name yeah
    Not bad

  6. We wanted something unique and not popular, we found the name in a star wars movie credits (great place to look for unique baby names as people who work on those films are from all over the world!). I like that its beautiful, uncommon but not hard to pronounce.
