Reply Meya Jun 11 at 11:13 am coming from a girl with the name meya, it’s certainly not easy to remember, spell or pronounce. many people read my name and pronounce it as “may-uh” or “maya”, and when writing it many write it as “mia”. even after correcting people numerous times they will still get it wrong, and usually takes a while for them to get it right. don’t get me wrong, I love my name, i think its super unique but its definitely not an easy name haha. I have met another meya who pronounces her name differently though, and her experience may be different than mine. so i guess it may just depend on how u choose to pronounce it.
