My daughter name is Felicity I loved it when I heard it the first time from my husband friend girlfriend her name was Felicity after that I fell in love with it and I looked what the meaning is happiness I love it more.

I’m Felicity Anne i was born in 1981 after British actress Felicity Kendall. My youngest sister is Hayley named after actress Hayley Mills. I loved there was Felicity King on avonlea, Actress Felicity Huffman, the show Felicity & American girl doll Felicity while I was growing up!

Hi My name is Felicity Jean and I was born in 1964, I couldn’t understand where my mom got this name from. I didn’t hate it but wasn’t a ordinary name to say the least but as time went on ….I grew to embrace the meaning and the uniqueness of my name. You can only imagine growing up in the 70’s and 80’s no one could ever guess my name and many didn’t believe it was name. ha ha but I love and embrace the meaning and my mother for given me the best name ever. My sisters are name Sonji and Regina …Mom and her flare for names.

I love Felicity because the has very fond and nostalgic feelings for me. I had the American Girl doll Felicity growing up and she was my absolute favorite. When Hubby and I were deciding on a name for our second girl, the name Felicity kept popping up and becoming more popular and we just couldn’t shake that that name was meant for our little girl ? I’m so glad we did, her full name is Felicity Ana.

I never expected to have a child but growing up I always felt like, if I did, that it would be a girl. From early teens the name Felicity has always been in my mind. I honestly don’t know why or where I found the name but I like that I don’t hear/see it often!

My husband and I chose felicity as our daughter’s name after attending a Catholic mass that a very close friend of ours lead after becoming a priest. During the mass they say the names of martyrs of the Church with Felicity bring one of them. We love that this saint gave her life for God and hope to remind Felicity of the beauty behind that with her name. We loved that it was not commonly heard of in a while. We also liked that it went well with our other daughters’ names, Cecilia and Juliette. I’m not usually crazy about F names, and I wasn’t sure how the kids would pronounce their new baby sister’s name, but the kids do great with the pronunciation. We managed to find a cute nickname, but I can see my daughter out growing it. This year we also lost a close family friend who was named, Feliciana, and I thought Felicity was a way of reminding us to pray for her and her family.

We wanted the middle name of Faith. We like traditional names that are feminine for girls. Our other girls are Susannah Grace and Charlotte Joy. Felicity Faith completed the set!

I absolutely adore the name! I hadn’t thought of this name at all to begin with. I just happened to have a dream that I was telling someone that we were either naming our baby Lacey (which was the name we originally picked out) or we going to name her Felicity. When I woke up I was in LOVE with the name! I told my husband and he immediately agreed! We LOVE how feminine and elegant it is!!!??
