  1. The name Eve came to me during a moment of spirituality. Eve is someone in the Bible that I look up to, and I thought naming my baby girl after her would give her a role model to also look up to.

  2. With naming our daughter I wanted the name to go with her siblings old names, not common now days. Also with naming our last baby we knew life is special and knowing that the name Eve means life and is the first women’s name in the Bible. It’s a special name. With first child I miscarried, 2nd child son Rhett William I almost lost him too my doctor found I was deficient in vitamin b and folic I carried Rhett to full term, Sadie Grace I started having complications with her too I developed a blood clot that caused the placenta to detach at 5 months Sadie was born 25 weeks 1 lb 11 ounces 4 months in the NICU. So knowing we were having a girl the name Eve Marie was perfect fit. I carried Eve full term a week over due. We like to call Evie too.

  3. I love the name eve so much I allowed her to tattoo autograph it on my right butt cheek a beautiful unique signature

  4. First woman in the bible. My Eve is very strong and endured a 4 day labor with me.

  5. Her full name is Eve AnnMarie, and we kept up with family tradition to biblically name our children. After having seven nephews, we prayed HARD for a girl, and she was just born June 3, 2020. She is the first granddaughter in both sides of our family, and her first name means “life.” Her middle name is comprised of:
Ann” after the middles names of me, my mother, and my MIL.
Marie” after my late sister-in-law, who passed away suddenly Nov 2015 shortly after giving birth to her second boy. This was when my husband and I found out we were pregnant a second time after a miscarriage a couple years prior, and we felt that this would be a way to honor her love and memory.

  6. It’s the first name that God gave to a woman. So, my husband chose this name for our daughter.

  7. I love how it’s not a very common name but yet it’s easy to say, spell, and pronounce. It fits her as a baby and will grow well with her into adulthood I think!

We chose Eve from a list of names we liked the sound of out of the baby name book after she was born. Eve was the last name standing after crossing all the others out for one reason or another! She just looked like an Eve I guess 🙂
