I had planned on a home birth with her and things changed quickly to having a hospital birth, getting induced, epidural, and getting my water broken for me. The birth was quick and beautiful, I loved being able to finally hold my baby in my arms. Miss Clover is a beautiful girl and I hope and pray I get to spend time with her as her mother. Heart surgery is in the near future for Clover and it has been really hard navigating through this. She’s in really good hands and is touching hearts everywhere with her sweetness. Reply Sevven Bee Sep 23 at 4:39 pm I’ve always found 4 leaf clovers and figured, if ever that luck manifested it was definitely through my daughter, so I used it as her middle name. Her name is Tirzah Clover and she’s proud of that fact. Reply Shauna C Jul 24 at 6:02 pm Love! Reply Mama Chelsey Sep 8 at 7:02 am Only know one other person with this name! And it’s a plant – good historical meaning too Reply Kimmy Foxx Aug 4 at 6:03 pm Clover was our first girl, and I really thought she was another boy. I thought Clover was a charming name for a boy, because of my husband’s Irish heritage. My husband thought it was too feminine. So we picked Hugo for a boy, which is going with our H theme, (Harrison is my first child .) I so put Clover on the back burner. I know this sounds dumb, but the baby being a girl never crossed my mind. I was overwelled in the delivery room. I named her Clover because my husband liked it for a girl. Harrison pronounces it like “Q-over.” which is adorable when he coaches her on how to cawl. “Go QOVER!” Harrison is a spectacular older brother and it’s only been six months. He shows her about dinosaurs and pretends to read her books about automobiles and trucks, (Even though he can’t read) and is so protective of her. I love both of them to pieces! Reply Megan Mar 9 at 9:13 am The name Clover came to me randomly one day and I never entertained another. Never felt weird or unusual either, because it fits our little girl SO wonderfully. I didn’t realize until later that we had found out she was a girl (and later, Clover) on St. Patrick’s Day! Reply Stevie-Lynn Jun 12 at 11:39 am My husband and I both really like the name. It is a beautiful name and we have Irish heritage so it play with that also. Her full name is actually Clover-Lynn Reply Angie Apr 11 at 1:22 pm My older daughter Dahlia was named after the flower and so when we were thinking of girl’s name we wanted a flower name. We considered the usuals Lily, Rose, Camelia but none of those were really convincing me because although they were pretty flowers, I didn’t have a personal connection with any. At that time my daughter Dahlia was 2 and her favorite flower was the Clovers in our front lawn. So we went with it!!
