Her middle name is Katrina-Oghale which is part of my first name and a traditional African middle that her grandmother picked out. I wanted to make sure she had a piece of her heritage since we couldn’t arrange for her grandmother to come from Nigeria. Reply Elizabeth Apr 18 at 8:56 am We were already thinking about it as a name and then officially chose it after we found it flipping through a family history book! Reply Tracie Freeman Sep 29 at 8:29 am Her father chose her name I really like the name it fits her personality Reply Penny Sep 7 at 7:27 pm Charity has been a reoccurring name in my mother’s family for at least 300 years. The last one died before I was born. I took note of how pretty and meaningful it is just before getting married. Then I read a book about a little girl named Charity. Her adoptive parents were inspired to name her Charity by the Holy Spirit. I decided I wanted to name a daughter Charity if I was so blessed. My husband read the book and agreed. We took some flack while I was pregnant with her from people who didn’t like the name. Our Charity is now 24 and has always absolutely LOVED her name. She was an answer to my prayers. She receives compliments nearly every day on her name. To both of us, it is the world’s most perfect name. One of us suggested it and loved it for a while, but it was still just an option until we found it in one of our family history books. Once we found out it was a family name we realized it was perfect. Our baby’s name is as full of love as she is! Reply Christina Oct 7 at 2:12 pm I chose the name Charity Rose cause my husband and I tried for years to have a baby with no success. I started praying to God please Bless me with a child, I found out I was pregnant in January of 2019 and God spoke to me and gave me the name Charity Rose.
