We liked that the -ynne ending matched with our oldest, Evelynne. We call her Ari for short. We knew liked the nickname Ari, but in 2016 our original name choice Aria was becoming too popular. There are a handful of Aris that we’ve come across, but still no Arawynnes! Reply Cathryn Jan 28 at 7:53 am My husband and I had a really hard time settling on a name. Even after we settled on Arwen and she was born I struggled with associating the strong sound of it with this tiny, sweet baby. She’s almost 10 now and I can’t imagine her having any other name. She’s our little, ethereal elf. Reply Natasha Apr 1 at 10:27 pm My Arwen Grace was born in March 2020. Reply Arwen Apr 23 at 2:05 pm I named my daughter Arwen. I think it’s very beautiful, feminine, and strong. I also love that it’s unique and more people will over time become aware of it. 🙂 Reply Casey Schubert Jan 26 at 11:53 pm I named my daughter Arwen as well. She was born in April 2019.
