Share Your Thoughts 2 Comments Elizabeth Parker May 1 at 5:41 pm I love this name! I’m having a girl and I have a habit of calling her flower, so I looked for names that mean flower and I found Anthea! I love how rare it is, but also how easy to spell it is and how it’s not to long but not to short. It’s also a timeless name and I like that. My husband loves this name too, he had a favorite teacher named Thea and it brings good memories to him because it’s very similar. My top names were Clarabella, Evangeline, Madison, Julianna, and Mary Belle. But in the end I chose Anthea and we are very happy with it.
