That was pretty annoying – I figured Connor would be easy enough that people wouldn’t mess up the spelling, but everyone spells it Conner with an er instead of an or. Reply Jaimie Oct 28 at 2:03 pm We named our daughter AnnElise after multiple different family members! There are two people in our family with Ann in their name, and two with Elise or variants thereof. It’s always a name I’ve liked and it happened to be a family name too. I love how elegant and old-fashioned it is. But we intentionally capitalize the E in the middle, to emphasize the two distinct names, and I have to be sure to carefully spell it out anytime I’m telling someone her name. 🙂 Other than that, we just love it!
