In French love is written << Amour >>. Of course it is a Latin language and we all have the same base initially but I assure you, in French the correct word is “Amour” not Amora. Actually, Amora it is the brand of a famous French mustard. Hope I helped, A French girlie born, raised and still living in France Reply Salina Jul 29 at 9:11 am My fianc? and I chose the name Amora for our sweet princess because we are both Hispanic and in Spanish “Amore” means LOVE. Her mommy is also Arab and in Arabic it means BEAUTIFUL. My fianc? and I made the decision to wait until birth to find out our baby’s gender. We didn’t know if we would get the chance to use the name Amora. It was the greatest surprise ever. We are so happy to have our little princess. Reply Amora Dec 18 at 7:58 am We Came to choosing our Daughter name by first finding 3 names we absolutely loved where we wouldn’t mind any one of them being her first name. However a small task we would do every time me and my husband would go out to dinner and with family and friends we would do a poll to see what name everyone’s first choice was and see how many tallies each name would get. That helped us narrow down to the top 2 and we ending up choosing “Amora” because of Love for one another and our family and friends. She will definitely bring Love she already has .
