When i had first came out to my friend of the bus, They told me that they thought the name Tommy was a perfect fit, and i agreed. But the silly part is, the reason why i agreed was because I actually ended up having the same personality type as Tom Simons (Commonly known as Tommyinnit). I always liked to make jokes about my name because of it, and i do think it fits! I go by Thomas, although i prefer Tommy! Pog name if i do say so myself ? Reply Missey Feb 24 at 3:43 am I am 41 (almost 42) I have a 16 year old son from a previous relationship. I met my husband when Aidan was 6 – we tried for years to have a baby with no luck we accepted this and gave up. I lost my dad suddenly to a massive heart attack in 2016 – his name was Tommy (went by Tom) i took losing him very hard. We were shocked to find out May 2020 that I was pregnant! It was a tough pregnancy as I had some BP issues – but Tommy is our little miracle baby! Reply Mama May 17 at 7:27 pm *We chose Thomas as his birth name but he is Tommy to us. My husbands dad was Thomas and we named our little boy after him. We go with Tommy because we find it cute and really suits our little Bub We love that his name can grow with him – Tommy is a cutesy name, he can become Tom later and use Thomas as a professional name. I love that it has options and he can adapt it as he likes. I love family names – honouring some of our most loved people.
