Share Your Thoughts 2 Comments Melissa Apr 12 at 8:11 am We decided not to find out the sex of the baby while I was pregnant. I knew what I wanted to name our baby if it was a girl, but I was having a hard time with boy names. I read about baby naming ceremonies in The Mindful Mom To Be, which was one of my favorite books that I read during my pregnancy. Some people believe that the baby chooses its parents on a soul level and the souls have names. I decided to try it. One night while I was lying in bed and relaxed I asked my baby what its name was. The name Sheldon came to me. This was not a name that we had even considered. My husband wasn’t totally on board at first, but I wanted to honor it because I asked and got an answer. I also had a dream the night before I went into labor that I had a boy. I woke up in labor on 7/13 and on 7/14 Sheldon was born! Reply David Sep 7 at 4:01 pm Congratulations! Beautiful story ?
