  1. I liked that Ryder wasn’t so common, but also not so abnormal that it would be hard to spell, say, or be a source strife for my little boy. It take send to fit him VS other names we were thinking about.

  2. Ryder is starting to be a more common name now but I named my son Ryder in 2014 and there was only one other Ryder i knew of. I have been in love with the name since I was a little girl and I love it even more now that I have a son who has the name.

  5. We went through a ton of names, Ryder was the first one both dad and I liked. We tried really hard with our other two children to make sure the names didn’t clash with the last name Hardman. We picked Ryder Scott Hardman. Middle name after dad’s grandpa. Someone pointed out that you don’t say it with the middle name so we essentially named the kid Ryder Hardman. Get it. Ride-her Hard-man? Yeah. We laughed really hard lol
