Share Your Thoughts 1 Comment Gen Apr 23 at 7:00 am My boyfriend’s family has a tradition of giving the 1st born a name starting with the letter R. Great grandpa was Richard, grandpa was Robert and dad is Ryan, which are all the R names I really knew. One day, I was listening to the radio and this interview came on with a country singer from the States named Ruston Kelly. I told my boyfriend that night and that’s the name we fell in love with. Ruston Thomas is our little guy’s name. We call him Rusty, Rustaroni, Fuston (when he’s fussy haha). I like it because it’s original without being weird. It also gives him the choice of being Russ or Rusty or Ruston when he gets older. The only issue I’ve had is when people ask his name, I often have to repeat it 2 or 3 times since they think they hear Dustin or Justin. It’s never the name I imagined for my baby but I’m so happy with it and it suits him so well. Reply Share your thoughts on the name Ruston Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
