  3. My husband and I started dating when we were 18 and he told me way back then that his first child would be named Peyton (after his favorite football player Peyton Manning). Back then, I didn’t think anything of it cause we were just dating. Now 11 years later, we are married with our first child and he stuck to his guns! Our baby boy, Peyton, is here. Luckily I love the name as well, we both love names that are uncommon and gender neutral, so there was no argument. From the day we found out he was a boy, we knew what his name would be. He does have two middle names, named after my mother (Lee) and his grandfather (Gordon) to pass along family names.

  4. I had a cousin pass away 9 yrs ago at the age of 11 of a seizure disorder. Her middle name was Peyton. So in honor of her I named my son after her.

  5. I name my son after the football player Peyton Manning
