Jul 20 at 5:35 pm As a Klaus, I can confirm that it is a wonderful name to have. I don’t know if it is because it reminds people of Santa Claus, but people seem to always treat me kindly and respectfully (most people anyway hahah). Since few guys have this name, excluding Germany and Scandis, people tend to remember it with ease. Also since the name is just 1 syllable, should your little Klaus misbehave, all you need to do is break the name into 2 syllables (Kla-us). Doesn’t matter how soft your tone of voice is, with just this, they will know to behave or have trouble coming their way 😛 Cheers! 10/10, recommend. Reply Tracie Coburn Jul 1 at 4:56 am I love the name it fits my husband and son’s perfectly. Since it’s our last name Reply Meredith Nov 10 at 3:45 pm Love the Name !!! Reminds me of Klaus from vampire diaries lol Reply Jess Aug 17 at 8:46 pm All of our children’s names come from within our family tree and have a German heritage. We wanted names that we unique but not impossible to say or pronounce, although we do have people mispronounce this, saying ‘claws’ instead of having the name rhyme with ‘house’. We talked about many other names, but I loved how different it is and imagined a happy, sweet, content little boy-and that’s what we got! Our Klaus is rarely without a smile on his face! Reply Haley Jun 6 at 9:50 pm So comforting to read! Klaus is our number one pick for our little boy due in September 🙂 Reply Share your thoughts on the name Klaus Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
