  1. We loved the name from the start and knew that it would be easy to incorporate a middle name for a nickname (abbreviation.) We chose David for the middle name (after my husbands father) – so that Jayce can go by JD. My husbands name is Joe and Jayce’s primary initials are JO, so that’s also fitting!

Jayce David O. we love you so much already!

  2. Jayce means healer; cure 🙂

  3. We chose Jayce to have a “J” name like our 20 month old Jaxen. It was a name both my husband and I liked. We both loved the unique spelling too!

  4. none

  5. Names after his father

  6. I chose the name Jayce because I thought it was a really cute name for a boy and dad name starts with an J also! I actually love the name Jayce, no dislike. Jayce is 6 weeks and doing very good!

  7. I like the meaning of his name and it’s similar to my first child.

  8. I love everything about him

  9. We chose the name for several reasons. I wanted my initals, my husband like the name from a game and book he has read, and the meaning really spoke to me.

  10. I originally chose the name Chase but my wife wanted to stick with “J” because my daughter’s name starts with it. Hers is Ja’Rayla after my dad, Jimmy Ray. I like the name Jayce because it’s unique where I’m from but I dislike when people don’t say it right. His middle name is J’ arri after my brother’s nickname which is Jay R. And his son is also Jimmy Ray III.

  11. Jayce’s name was chosen by his father whose name is Jaylon.

    I love his name
