My husband and I were extremely intentional in choosing a name that is grounded and meaningful. Conrad means “brave counsel” and we fell in love with it as soon as we discovered it! I also love that it’s right in that “sweet spot” – not unheard of but not popular either!
McKenzie
It’s been a name I fell in love with since I heard the name. I love it because it sounds strong.
Constance
My husband actually named our son. My name is Constance and his name is Ralph so he called himself putting both of our names together. Conrad I wasn’t to big on it at first but it grew on me and I love what it mean to my husband. Constance and Ralph baby ?
Salina
My husband was giving me all kinds of names but nothing gave me the same feeling like when I named our first son(Beau), until i heard the name Conrad said on TV and my ears perked up and I knew, that was it! Its very manly, an old name but not too common.
Amanda Allen
My husband and I watch the show The Resident on TV. One of the doctor’s names on the show is Conrad Hawkins, we really liked the name and we both agreed on that one pretty promptly after mentioning it, so we basically decided about a week or so after we found out that he was going to be a boy to name our little boy Conrad Avery, the middle name we just came up with on our own cause it sounded good with Conrad ?
Morgan
I had never met a Conrad in my life until I was part of a firefighter crew. He was so kind to everyone no matter how he was treated, and even if you didn’t know him well he was that person you could just trust. On the other hand he was a very hard worker and smart about his work. Any other time I have heard this name, there is never a negative characteristic or word said about that person.
Suzanne
We wanted something unique but easy to recognize, pronounce and spell and also something that sounded like a man’s name and not just a cute baby name!
