Share Your Thoughts 1 Comment Lauren Aug 12 at 8:19 am My husband suggested the name “Callum/Calum” because he follows on social media an Australian surfer named Callum and another Australian body builder named Calum (same name spelled differently). He liked that it was unique for the states, and it actually derives from Irish/Scottish decent. We put it on our list of agreed upon names and after about 6 months of pregnancy, that was the only name on the list still. We paired it with the middle name “James” (my husband’s brother) and decided on the spelling with one L instead of two. I adore my son’s name! The only downfall is that a lot of people read his name with a long A instead of a short A, and it may be due to the spelling with one L instead of two. Other than that, we love his name and get a lot of compliments on it! Reply Share your thoughts on the name Calum Cancel ReplyYour email address will not be published.
