I am a hawaiian mom of 5 to Alaska, CeCe, Koa, Bayr, and Paisleigh! Bayr is our 2nd to youngest kid and he is 2! He is very smart and funny and loving. In 2021 we were trying to come up with names for the baby boy! We settled on Bayr because we thought it was a very unique and cool name especially with the spelling. We love unique names as you can see…and we thought no other kid who went to his Hawaii Homeschool Program would have this name! We absolutely love this name for our baby boy. Reply Brooklyn Jun 10 at 10:49 am 5 kids!? I don’t know how you can deal with all of them! Lol anyways may I ask about what a “Homeschooling program” is? I am about to move to hawaii in 4 more weeks with my 2 kids Olivia (11) and Jackson (4). I don’t want to place them in a public school in Hawaii, because I feel like that would be a big change for them even though right now they attend public school in our area. I have been struggling to find a school program for them, but then I ended up thinking I was just going to homeschool them. Is the homeschool program at a school? Reply Brooklyn Jun 10 at 10:53 am Sorry I know I just asked some questions already, but how old are your kids? also have you been on a plane with them? I really don’t know how im going to keep control of Jackson in the plane since he is only 4. Reply Hawaiian mom of 5 Jun 10 at 10:59 am Hey there! A Homeschool Program is a Program where you do Homeschool for some days, but then you go to a school for kids who participate in this curriculum! There are about 3-4 people in your class but you can also do private lessons as well. This is a big thing in Hawaii that i think you should try! To answer your second question, Alaska is 10, CeCe is 9, Kai is 6, Bayr is 2, and Paisleigh is 8 months! My kids have ridden in planes before considering in the last 12 months we have traveled to Greece, Jamaica, Paris, and Florida! My kids are very well behaved in planes though we just pack a bunch of toys thus snacks! Reply Hawaiian mom of 5 Jun 10 at 11:01 am Also I forgot to add that my kids are homeschooled Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and they go in to their school Tuesday and Thursday for about 2 hours each week. Reply Justin Feb 23 at 10:51 am My wife and I just welcomed our son who we named Bear. We fell in love with the name a year our so before he was born and it was the only one that stuck in our name list. Reply Katie Jan 12 at 11:05 am Bear is his dad’s middle name. Reply Shayna Apr 14 at 2:28 pm My husband has had this name picked out for his first born son almost his whole life! He likes how manly it sounds and I warmed up to it. 🙂 It fits our son well who is both cuddly and sweet and in the 90th percentile for his size. Reply BOOTE Mar 28 at 6:46 am Lol Reply Kimberly Apr 11 at 8:31 pm His full first name is Barron, which is great because it’s unique and I love the sound of it. We actually thought of it because we were wondering what full name could we use so that we could call him Bear. His brother’s name is Wolf. If he ever wanted to go by a more common name, his middle name is Robert. But I have always absolutely loved animals and nature. I sound like a hippie mama, but really I just love animals and it shows. 😛 instead of nickname Barry, I call him Bear-Bear sometimes. Also I chose names that seemed strong and courageous.
