   I love this name and understand it is Native American (Algonquin?) for stars. Any further information would be welcome – especially how it would be pronounced in its native language.
   I pronounce it (in my head) with a Philadelphia accent: AY-rank

   It’s really significant meaning for me and my husband. We love it, a lot of people don’t know how to pronounce it, it is like A-RANK., not ARA-NICK, like some people have pronounced it before. It’s a great name though and I love to pieces. My husband and I met a restaurant called Aranck. So we knew it was just right.
