When did you realize you were really in labor?
It was Sunday early morning, I thought maybe this was it, but the contractions were not consistent, but they were strong enough to wake my husband and 2 year old to head to the hospital 15 min down the road.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
My other 3 births I was always induced, so this time going natural was so much easier and less painful, that should I ever have another baby natural is the way to go. I didn't find it challenging at all.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Read read read.....reading others stories and blogs really helped to give me knowledge and helped to relax me and made it possible for me to deliver my own baby (which was not planned it just happened that way)

What surprised you about your birth?
My biggest surprise was delivering my baby in the back seat of our minivan with my 2 yr old watching, on the way to the hospital.

Read as much as you can, trust yourself and your body listen to your body, we were built to do this it knows what to do, and breath!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Breathing was the best.

What position did you end up delivering in?
I started out on my hands and knees I found that to be the most comfortable and after I pushed and his head came out in sat myself back in the captain chair in the van to deliver the rest of my baby boy.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
It's the best feeling in the world, a sense of accomplishments, happiness, peace and relief. Your heart fills with love, and joy immediately.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Read as much as you can, trust yourself and your body listen to your body, we were built to do this it knows what to do, and breath!
