When did you realize you were really in labor?
In the morning around 7:30 AM, I woke and realized my water broke.

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
The most challenging thing about going natural, was me. I was getting desperate, I was feeling like if I wasn't going to be able to give birth on my own.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
It was very helpful to know that every pain a contraction had was getting me close to meeting love. I kept on telling my self, 5 more minutes of pain, for a lifetime of happiness.

What surprised you about your birth?
With my past two pregnancies, birth was fast. My water broke and in four hours my babies where here. This one was a surprise because, she was taking longer to arrive. They do say, every pregnancy is very different.

I don't think there is any good advice. But just keep on mind that every minute of pain you are feeling will heal as soon as your little one is in your arms, you will realize it was worth it all the way.

What pain relief strategies worked best?
No medical strategies, just deep breathing in and out.

What position did you end up delivering in?
Normal position, laying down in the bed.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
It felt like heaven, is a feeling only mummys can understand.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
I don't think there is any good advice. But just keep on mind that every minute of pain you are feeling will heal as soon as your little one is in your arms, you will realize it was worth it all the way.
