When did you realize you were really in labor?
My midwife had to check me at 40 weeks (a day before my due date) and I was already 90% thinned out she swept my membranes and that afternoon I started having contractions

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
I ended up having a 48 hour labor so I had to get an epidural because my legs were shaking uncontrollably I had no control of my bottom half anymore but I did go through active labor for a while and that was tough because I was considered high risk and had to be in the hospital for labor and delivery

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Prayers, Watched videos, read birth stories, and took mama natural birth classes!
-
What surprised you about your birth?
That I got an epidural but I’m thankful I did because my body wouldn’t have been strong enough to push, thankfully I only pushed 2 times and she came right out! I’m all into natural health and was so against an epidural but there was nothing else I could physically do so at the end of the day I’ve accepted it and am just thankful me and baby are alive and well by the grace of God! Childbirth is beautiful no matter how it’s done, don’t beat yourself up if it doesn’t go exactly how you wanted because once your baby is in your arms you forget completely about what just happened!

How did the Mama Natural Birth Class help you in your childbirth?
It helped me SOOO much there was so much I didn’t know about childbirth and this by far exceeded the knowledge I needed to be prepared for before during and after labor!
