What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Prenatal yoga really helped me physically, mentally, and spiritually. It was great for stretching and breathing, as well as connecting with other moms to be.

What surprised you about your birth?
My child was born with only one lung so we didn't know what to expect, nor did the doctors. Once he was born they were able to assess how he would deal with breathing on his own. Thus far he's doing great!

Yoga and warm baths really helped, along with a lot of stretching.

I had a cesarian.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
My first feeling was relief! I didn't get to hold my baby right away because he went straight to NICU. I finally got to hold him 9 hours after he was born, it was the longest day of my life.
