Learning everything I can about the natural process and all the variations as well as doing daily prenatal exercises and having a good diet. I teach natural childbirth classes so I'd say that helped :P

How fast it was, it was just under 3 hours this time. With my first it was about 19 hours

So good. I felt so accomplished and overjoyed and relieved. All the hard work had resulted in this perfect beautiful little boy.

Deep relaxation and thinking about how my body was working.

What position did you end up delivering in?
Lying on my side, I asked to be on my hands and knees but baby was coming so fast and the doctor was not there yet so the nurses didn't want to let me.

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Find natural Childbirth classes in your area and take them. And yes I teach so of course I say that, but I know how much they helped me and I see such a difference in the couples I've taught, class 1 they come in not really sure what all to expect or how they can work with the body or what their options are or simply what is part of the natural process and what isn't. And by the end of the last class they leave so full of knowledge and confidence and strength, ready to have the natural birth they want. So my advice is to take classes, you won't regret it and your baby is well worth it.
