I lost my mucus plug, and had some bloody show.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Took care of myself during the pregnancy, prayed and focused on having a good birth outcome. Also, seeing a chiropractor who specializes in prenatal care was wonderful, helped me and baby be in a good position for natural birth.

What surprised you about your birth?
How quick it was. 2 hours and 20 minutes start to finish!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Started out in the bath, rocking back and forth on my hands and knees, deep breathing and low noises.

What position did you end up delivering in?
Propped up on pillows, knees up and on my back, I had a anterior lip which my midwife held back until I pushed his head down.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Amazing, this was my 3rd natural birth and the joy and love never gets old.
