My water broke after having some minor contractions

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
I dreamed of a natural birth, but unfortunately after 30 hours, I failed to progress and baby and I weren't doing so great (heart rate kept dropping). It was decided a c-section would be safest. It was challenging to stay relaxed since I didn't really prepare myself for a c-section.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
I took the hypnobirthing class. It was a good choice for someone like me who is prone to anxiety.

What surprised you about your birth?
The recovery surprised me. C section has its difficulties, but if you stay strong and trust your body, the recovery will go smoother.

standing and changing positions frequently.

Laying down with my stomach open!

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Scary! Like you are holding the whole world in your arms but this world is fragile and unknown.
