When did you realize you were really in labor?
I wasn't sure about labor as this was my first baby, as I had some bleeding called my doctor, didn't have any pain during that period. When I started to hospital then felt l might be in labor, as I was having pain in my tummy and back and the pain lasted for only 50secs at that point of time.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Breathing during the contractions gave me relief from pain. Exercise - walking which helped me a lot for my delivery to happen fast. Did walk even the day before I was about to go labor and on the day of labor I was fixing the crib for our little ❤️.

What surprised you about your birth?
I was admitted in hospital at 6pm on April 14th and my child was born by 11:52pm on April 14th. We expected the labor would go beyond 12hrs as it was my first baby. But he surprised all of us by coming early into this world?

Keep exercising, I did walk for an hour in the afternoons along with my daily work at home. Squatting helped me a lot for the baby to drop easily. Eat nutritious food and walk.

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Breathing techniques during contractions, hot water bath.

What position did you end up delivering in?
Was lying on my back. Normal position. Not on one side or on birthing ball or some other positions.

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
We were awaiting to see him since the start of my pregnancy and when he arrived into this world and when I took him in my hands it was really amazing, both me and my husband started to cry by seeing him(happy tears).
