When did you realize you were really in labor?
I actually had scheduled induction due to several holiday events including Christmas. We were also moving from one state to another!

What was the most challenging thing about going natural?
That pain and being able to focus my mind on the power that God has given me to endure it.

What was the most helpful thing you did to prepare for childbirth?
Learned to execute my breathing and meditation to endure the contractions, and kept everyone involved up to speed on my goals.

How beautifully it went !

Always keep in mind to do your best to execute what you've learned. Do your research! Learn as much as possible on techniques for positioning, breathing, birthing and pain relief!

What pain relief strategies worked best?
Using every alternative first until the pain became unbearable. Started from meditation, to massage/changing positions/walking, to breathing techniques, to deciding the right time for meds.

What position did you end up delivering in?
I delivered in the lithotomy position

How did it feel to hold your baby for the first time?
Absolutely surreal!

What advice can you give to other mamas who want to go natural?
Always keep in mind to do your best to execute what you've learned. Do your research! Learn as much as possible on techniques for positioning, breathing, birthing and pain relief! I have never felt more prepared and super relieved at how my birth went. Also, do not create a birth plan!
