What surprised you about your birth?
Both my children were born face up and turned when they crowned! My second passed meconium and was born not breathing. They gave her to me and preformed cleaning her airways while I laid her on my chest. The skin to skin brought her temp up and she began to breathe. A healthy baby is all that is truly important.
